Friends International (FI) supports marginalised urban children in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to become productive, independent members of society.

Current funding priorities for the Cambodia Programme include:
- $30,000 for the Transitional Home Project for one year. The cost of one student’s shelter, food, medical care, clothing, schooling and social support is $900 per year.
- $100,000 per year to support the Education Centre for one year for food, education, learning materials, teacher capacity building, and psycho social support.

Contact us about supporting FI
Each year, FI reaches out to over 50,000 children and young people between the ages of 0 and 24 through its medical, shelter and food programmes. They also support thousands of children to return to school each year and where appropriate, reunite them with their families. Where families are reconciled, FI's efforts include supporting adult family members into work.
In our experience:
- FI is a high-impact organisation that engages children, families, communities, government and corporations.
- FI are developing their sustainability model. Within five years their intention is to transform themselves into a sustainable social enterprise that is not reliant on the good will of donors.
- FI works with extremely vulnerable groups including those living on the streets, those in custody, those affected by HIV/ AIDS, drug users and sex workers.
- FI works both with individuals on a case by case basis, and with communities and government authorities to achieve wide spread change.
