Our Aim
Prospero World is a London-based, not-for-profit company working to support philanthropy and to promote non-governmental organisations (NGOs) worldwide.
Donors should be confident that their investment in a charity will have
a real and direct impact, as well as offer long-term, sustainable benefits.
We aim to provide that confidence.
Reflecting our own pioneering approach, we have a special interest in seeking
out small, innovative, intelligent projects which demonstrate excellence
in their field. We also engage with riskier or difficult-to-fund causes
when there’s immense social benefit to be gained.
Our business
We provide a bespoke philanthropic advisory service to individuals, companies and foundations who need guidance with their giving.
We
identify outstanding NGOs around the world, building up a portfolio of international
projects to present to our clients, according to their interests. Our field
investigations have taken us to Africa, India, South East Asia and the Middle
East.
At Prospero World we're proactive in our approach. We choose to highlight development issues to potential supporters through our own films, events and research briefings.
We also support our NGO partners with advice, networking and consultancy.
