Emergency Relief Charities
Prospero recommends trusted, smaller organisations that are able to respond
to crisis situations and assist the victims of natural disasters such as
cyclones, earthquakes, droughts and flooding, and of man-made disasters
such as war. Typically, the immediate response is emergency medical and
food aid, plus temporary shelter for survivors. Organisations may also work
in the longer term to rebuild communities affected by crisis.
