Contact us about supporting HealthProm
HealthProm was set up by a team of medical experts to address the healthcare
deficit in the Former Soviet Union. They work with local partners to promote
healthcare and social reform, and to ensure that medical services are made
accessible to mothers and children. HealthProm's practices include infection
control, safe childbirth and child mental health projects.
Our assessment:
- HealthProm is driven by specialists in maternal health and paediatric
care who give their time voluntarily.
- HealthProm works with a growing network of local partners, supporting
them in the implementation of care models and medical interventions.
- HealthProm works in remote geographical locations such northern Afghanistan
where medical support, especially for childbirth, is usually absent.
