How we work
Prospero is always on the look-out for new projects. They come to us via contacts already made, through independent research and from clients who ask us to vet particular projects. We visit the project headquarters, spend time understanding the challenges being faced and the methods used by the charity to overcome them, and analyse their costs and funding needs. We then write up a recommendation, and when appropriate, we will organise an awareness-raising event or film to show potential donors.
Case studies
- 84,000 people in Kenya have benefited from Prospero's support of Haller
- We got full funding for SAFE's pilot programme working with the Maasai in Kenya
- LEAD was able to get assistance rapidly to cyclone victims in Myanmar (Burma)
