Contact us about supporting Souvann Phoum

Souvann Phoum provide health education through child to child, and adult to child learning in both schools and communities. They specialise in community education in impoverished rural an semi rural areas where there is no access to public primary education.

They also support young adults with skills development, job placements and income generating activities.

In our experience:

  • Souvann Phoum brings communities together to highlight what is important to them, to identify solutions and enact them.
  • To foster ownership and responsibility, communities must in the first instance, produce funding and resources themselves. This method means that projects are truly sustainable.
  • Souvan Phoum is a local organisation, run by Cambodians for Cambodians. Their programme delivery is slick.
