Sita Schutt

Founding Director of Prospero

Sita SchuttAfter working for 5 years as a lecturer in English in the UK and Turkey, Sita volunteered for a creative literacy programme working with adolescent girls in Rajasthan, India. Since then she has researched and visited a range of development projects in Thailand, Africa and India and worked in an advisory capacity helping donors to make choices about international grassroots organisations. She founded Prospero in 2007 following a growing interest in a donor recommendation service.

Sita read English at Oxford and then obtained her PhD from King's College, London.

Anna-Louisa Psarras

Consultant

Anna-Louisa PsarrasAnna-Louisa has 8 years experience in the third sector. She has worked on issues including the environment, human rights, election monitoring and the rule of law, community development and crisis response. Her work has taken her to Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Before joining Prospero, Anna-Louisa was the Executive Director of the Zimbabwe Benefit Foundation. Anna-Louisa graduated from Edinburgh University in 2001 with an MA (Hons) in Social Anthropology and Religious Studies.

Bridget Franklin

Consultant

Bridget FranklinBridget Franklin is a consultant with 15 years of experience in the UK charity sector. She has been a fundraiser specialising in Trusts and Major Gifts and most recently was Charity Director of ShareGift, a grant-making charity specialising in share donations, where she ran the charity's grants programme of approximately £2 million.

Bridget has an MA in Classics from Cambridge University.

Sandra Lauckner-Rothschild

Researcher and event organiser

Sandra Lauckner-RothschildSandra's area of specialisation is in international development and her experience ranges from the academic to hands-on field work, including children's charities in Guatemala and South Africa. She was also assistant to the Counselor of Development Co-operation at the German Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.

She holds a Masters in Social Anthropology and Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, RSA and Freie Universitaet, Berlin, Germany.

Alicia Eastman

Alicia EastmanAlicia is a partner at Asia Pacific Capital, manager of the GE Asia Pacific Capital Technology Fund and Asia Pacific Capital Fund II, a private equity fund seeded by BNP Paribas and focused on growth investments in Asia. She is also Managing Director of MAP Capital, a joint venture with the Modern Industrial Investment Group in Saudi Arabia. Previously, she led international efforts at the Global Strategy and Alliances department of Elan Pharmaceuticals and was Vice President of Prudential's Asia Infrastructure Mezzanine Capital Fund (Franklin Templeton). She has held international strategy and investment positions at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Lend Lease, and AirTouch (Vodafone). Alicia is also on the Board of One Ummah, a Foundation dedicated to building schools and health facilities in developing Asia and the Middle East. She holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Stefan Meigh

Stefan Meigh Stefan is the founder and director of Action Challenge, a company that organises worldwide charity fundraising and corporate teambuilding events. A keen mountaineer, cyclist and traveller, he spends as much time as possible exploring the more extreme parts of the world. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and is passionate about sustainable development, eco-tourism and the environment.
